Firstly, to kick off this ale gift box, find Lovely Nelly. The boat, wrecked off Whitley Sands on the stormy New Year's Day of 1861 was successfully rescued by the Cullercoats Lifeboat. In fact, as the legend goes, the lifeboat could not launch due to the stormy conditions. Consequently, the Fisherwomen of Cullercoats pulled the lifeboat the 2 miles to Whitley Bay where it could be launched! Lovely Nelly is a superb full-bodied amber bronze session Beer. Always with a biscuit malt flavour, balanced with a smooth bitterness from the finest English Fuggles and Golding hops.
Next up, there's Rocket Brigade IPA. A tribute to the Cullercoats volunteers who fired rockets with life saving equipment to boats in distress. Of course, a multi award winning all English, India Pale Ale. Truly pale, strong and bitter although deceptively easy drinking. An intense hoppy aroma complements the rich malty flavour of this excellent ale.
Finally, we have selected Grace Darling Gold. Often described as Victorian Britain's greatest heroine, who risked her life to rescue nine survivors from the wrecked SS Forfarshire in 1838. To this day, the RNLI museum in Bamburgh celebrates the lighthouse keeper's daughters incredible life. Accordingly, this blonde beer is refreshing, smooth and hoppy.

Standard Mainland UK Delivery is FREE on all orders over £75 (excluding shipping) with a fixed charge of £4.95 per order (or delivery address if you're using the multi-address checkout feature).
Surcharges
A shipping surcharge of £5 applies over the £75 threshold if your basket includes fresh or chilled goods from our Meat, Pies & Pastries, and Ready To Eat Meals collections. This covers the additional cost of special delivery services and/or specialist packaging for fresh items.
Delivery to Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland and Offshore Islands will incur a surcharge, usually a few GBP.
Any final shipping costs will be shown in checkout.
