We lovingly pack and ship your goods once payment is processed with some items occasionally coming from different warehouses depending on their nature.

All goods, wherever possible, will be shipped on a tracked service for you to follow their progress and the next available delivery date will be shown on each particular product page before you place your order.

Standard Mainland UK Delivery is FREE on all orders over £75 (excluding shipping) with a fixed charge of £4.95 per order (or delivery address if you're using the multi-address checkout feature).

Surcharges

A shipping surcharge of £5 applies over the £75 threshold if your basket includes fresh or chilled goods from our Meat, Pies & Pastries, and Ready To Eat Meals collections. This covers the additional cost of special delivery services and/or specialist packaging for fresh items.

Delivery to Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland and Offshore Islands will incur a surcharge, usually a few GBP.

Any final shipping costs will be shown in checkout.

Future Delivery Dates

While we make every effort to deliver on your preferred date, shipments may arrive one day either side of your selected day during busy periods.

Orders containing alcohol may require a signature.

    Blackberry Cottage Traditional Round Christmas Puddings, we steep the juicy fruit in alcohol for two weeks. Each pudding is steamed for 6 hours, wrapped and left to mature to perfection, then wrapped in muslin and finish with a pretty ribbon.

    RUM CASK CIDER CHRISTMAS PUDDING Full of rum cask cider soaked fruit, the cider we use is produced by a local cider maker, who use a variety of eating, cooking and crab apples mainly from within West Berkshire, which has been fermented and matured in oak rum barrels.

    This pudding was voted as one of the top 5 artisan Christmas puddings by the Daily Telegraph food critic Xantha Clay. The rum cask cider gives this pudding a lovely warmth to this rich pudding.

    Reheat, take label and ribbon off pudding, place in a colander over steaming water cover for 100 mins. Microwave, take pudding out of all wrappings, 3 minutes on high. Make sure pudding is hot in the middle.

  • Cooking and Storage
    Instructions : REHEAT INSTRUCTIONS: This pudding has been cooked already, and only requires gentle reheating. For best results we recommend steaming. Steam: remove labels and fabric, leaving the foil outer. Place the pudding in a steamer and steam for 1.8kg 2 hours, 900g 1 ½ hours 450g 1 hour, 100g 15 mins, do not let the water boil dry, make sure that the water does not enter the pudding. Microwave: remove labels, fabric, foil and parchment. Place the pudding on a microwaveable dish and microwave for 1.8kg 12 mins, 900g 6 mins 450g 3 mins, 100g 30 seconds, based on 800 watt microwave, cooking times may vary, make sure the pudding is hot in the middle.
