About Blanco Niño

It all started when our founder Phil set up his first Mexican restaurant in Dublin. He couldn’t find corn tortillas of the quality he had come to love in Mexico’s famous taquerias. Phil embarked on a journey to learn how to make truly authentic tortillas. Not only did he gain invaluable knowledge, he also earned a new nickname…Blanco Niño. Driven by a passion for sharing real corn tortillas, he established the tortilleria with a passionate team in Tipperary, Ireland, in 2015. The rest, they say, is history.

We make slow cooked corn tortillas and tortilla chips.

We are a leading supplier for corn tortillas for restaurants. We proudly work with some of the leading Mexican restaurants and chefs across Europe. Launching our premium corn tortilla chips to retail in 2020 was a natural next step.

We’re proud that everyone can now enjoy true restaurant-quality tortilla chips at home from our growing retail community. Even better, our packaging is now 100% recyclable.

INSPIRED BY TRADITION

Using an Aztec cooking process called nixtamalization
We produce our own corn dough (called masa). It’s a true joy to create our products every day and pay homage to the ancient tradition of tortilla making.
